I particpated in Inktober! And it was a disaster. Not really, but it was hard. I was a solid 5 days behind most of the time, and had to do almost a third of the challenge–10 whole pieces–in the last three days just to finish. It was so hard but ultimately really fun and great and I learned a lot about myself, my work, and I definitely improved several of my artistic skills overall. And I think you can see that through the journey from Day 1 to Day 31…even if the quality of these go up and down throughout, I think it has an upward trend. There were a lot late nights and hurried finishes. But for the most part, I really like the way most of them turned out.
Here was the list of prompts:
I cobbled together my own list from several others that I really liked – I couldn’t choose just one of them!
I won’t go through each and every one, but I definitely have my favorites that I think are better than the rest. And I think most of them turned out well, which is better than the other way around. Anyway, it was fun!
